New Headquarters Location
We are excited to announce that the San Mateo County Transit District will be relocating its headquarters to Gateway at Millbrae Station. This move supports our continued growth and allows us to better serve our riders, partners, and community as the administrative body for the principal public transit and transportation programs in San Mateo County: SamTrans bus service, including Redi-Wheels paratransit service, Caltrain commuter rail and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority.

The San Mateo County Transit District (District) serves as the managing agency for the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB), the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA), and the San Mateo County Express Lanes Joint Powers Authority (JPA). The Contracts and Procurement Department (C&P) supports all procurement and contracting activities for the District, JPB, and TA (collectively referred to as Agencies); the Agencies are committed to promoting transparency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in public procurement.
The Agencies will utilize PlanetBids, a third-party platform, for our Online Procurement Portal.
