Mahmoud Abunie is the Public Affairs Specialist for SamTrans, Caltrain and the TA. He has been working in the transit world since 2020 and continues to enjoy working to improve the transit in the county. As a lifelong public transit rider, Mahmoud is well aware of what’s working in transit and what needs to be enhanced and changed. Transit is near and dear to his heart and he believes that having a robust transit system regionally (and hopefully nationally) we can solve public policy issues in housing and the environment while connecting our communities.
