Labor Compliance Program (LCP) for JPB and SamTrans
The District and JPB require contractors to comply with all prevailing wage laws and related public works requirements, including:
- Registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Apply for registration online at
Submittal of certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner. Information on reporting to the Labor Commissioner is available online at http://www.dir.ca.gov/Public-Works/Certified-Payroll-Reporting.html .
- Payment of at least the prevailing wage rates. Rates are published online at http://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/DPreWageDetermination.htm .
Labor Compliance Program (LCP)
The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board and the San Mateo County Transit District administer a California Department of Industrial Relations-approved Labor Compliance Program (LCP ID: 2006.00533) to monitor and enforce prevailing wage laws on public works contracts.
